Ramble to Reims is a modern adaptation by composer Bob Zimmerman of Gioacchino Rossini’s opera Il viaggio a Reims, with a new text by the writer duo Bindervoet & Henkes.

Just as in the original opera, the story takes place in a hotel where the guests assemble to attend a grand event. But when you’re planning a jaunt, things can take a strange turn. Everyone gets confused as conventions are broken, and then suddenly a party breaks out.
