In the office building of the Central Bureau of Statistics in Heerlen, a new permanent emplacement can be visited for employees and clients where they can consult, relax and delve into CBS. The fixed exhibition : “Along the way in the Netherlands”, shows what CBS does, what it stands for and how statistics have evolved over time. In addition, the setup tells the story about mobility in the Netherlands. It deals with themes such as how traffic is stagnating slowly, the quality of life and accessibility of cities, etc.
